I posted long ago the first pictures of Quake for GBA (http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?threadid=5085&pagenumber=3). I was about to post the newest pics (with the characters) when I found that you had already posted a link to the AGB games webpage.
Still, you know that I'll do as possible to keep you informed of the newest GBA games.

Damn, those Quake screenies look great. I wonder how well will the hardware handle this game when it actually comes out.

well They assure that the first level jumps from 15 to 60 fps, and they will improve it (to 30-60fps), so that's a good start

As far as I know, they're still NOT developing that game. They are using it just to try their 3D engine. If you go to AGB games' webpage, you'll see a poll where you can vote for the game you want them to develop first. AFTER THAT, they will see if they get the rights to port Quake to GBA.
I'm sorry to dissapoint you.

I saw an early GBA port of Quake that ran at something stupid like 5fps. Looked nice, though.

Crash bandicoot 2, silent scope are great. But this new 3D engine is very impressive (It looks even better than the AGB 3D Engine).
