Ok so I download the game.ini file. From my understanding I put the file in the Dolphin directory and it should load. Well that's what I did and nothing loads up in Dolphin.

Help anyone?

EDIT: After thinking, Do I need to have the ISO's on my harddrive for it to tell me info on it?

Edited for third time : Yes, it's what i was thinking about, tell me what game are you trying to run. I'm not sure about but i think i know what you say : you want to boot a game and you put the ini. If it doesn't boot it isn't because of the .ini, it's because the emulator can't emulate it..

NoNo, I want to know why isn't there anything in the empty white space while Dolphin is running.

EDIT: I know that's where the game is displayed but shouldn't banners and etc be displayed there when not playing a game?

Eemmmmm... i repeat, you tried to run a game ??? What game? If you put a game and it's in blank it may be because it can't boot!

pky, SHUSH! Faint, there's no point of tryin to get the .ini to work cos its for the teaser. Soon there will be a new .ini so it will be up to date wiv 1.03. So be patient and a new one will be released.

I haven't tried to run a game yet because I'm still getting the ISO or GCM or w/e . But I edited my post before this one, I thought banners and etc. where supposed to be displayed..Maybe only once Dolphin can find the ISO's and GCM's?

Look, look.. follow this:

1. Do you have a game? Yes or No?

2. If you answered yes, what game is it?

3. What is it's file format? [IE: GCM, ISO..]

4. Did you enter your game folder into the Dolphin config?

If you do not have one or all of these steps, there's your reason.

Edit: That INI from Dolphin's site? Make your own, that one uses a new format and will not work with versions older then the new BETA.

2. The Wind Waker.
3. ISO.
4. Onces it done downloading I will be.

My whole question is where is the info like comments and such for the games? Also I would I go about making my own Games.ini file?

If you place the gcm iso in the folder where the dolphin is, if inside the iso there's a banner, it will be displayed.

maybe but calm down on your replies, it's not because he's new that you have to make those kind of replies.
