works fine here.
are you using the nrage plugin its the best with the Xbox control.

xbox_controller_with_triggers_as_split_axis.zip < profile for XBCD with split Z trigger axis (allows both triggers to be pressed at once)
and
xbox controll.ace < this is the profile for nrages plugin. it sets up the control to be like a gamecube control kind of... (left stick is movement and right stick is the c buttons, the left and right triggers are Z trigger and R button, the L button is when you press down the left stick.)
