Gamepad to USB?

?????????????????????????
Is there any wire or whatever it's called to fit a gamepad (with a gamepad slot) into a usb port or com or any other? Doesn't really matter which, though. This motherboard doesn't have a gameplay port, and the sound is built in :D (praise this built-in sound  )

Use the force... err... use your brain. PCI soundcard with gameport 3-5 times cheaper than new gamepad (a good one) It's $5-10 only while good gamepad begins with $40

A cheap soundcard is crap. The built-in one is great. 'Nuff said!
I just need a cheap converter...

I've said "use your brain" Better to start thinking now, m8 :)

U don't have do use it as your primary soundcard,u can even disable it in control panel, leave only gameport enabled. But if you even leave it enabled set your main (onboard in this case) soundcard active.

For example I have Vortex2, AWE64 and Terratec cards. All sound in Windows goes through Vortex.

(but actually Vortex front line out goes also to AWE64 line in - AWE64 is just headphone amplifier and DOS soundcard (Vortex's SB emulation is crap) And EWS64XL works only for sound recording (it have good SNR, because it's maybe old but it's still professional card)

I didn't know you could do that :plain:
Anyway, i'll order the cheapest sound-card with gameport i can find.
Thanks, m8 :)
