Gamepad != Jabo, N-Rage != Kaillera

I have two issues that seem to be unresolved (via this forum or google).

A) I can't use my boom converter (psx+n64) with Jabo's input plugin. Neither my dual shock or n64 controllers work.

B) N-Rage works perfectly with the controllers, but not in Kaillera. Regardless of the other player's input plugins, whenever I use N-Rage with Kaillera, only whoever player 1 is can do anything (everyone else has no input).

How do I either fix one of these, or just plain use my gamepads with kaillera. 1964 works fine, but obviously p64k is much more popular. All the other input plugins either don't work with the controllers or kaillera. Help would be much appreciated.

Did you actually select the game-pads in the drop-down box in Jabo's input plug-in's configuration screen?

PJ64k was probably designed so that only the "Player 1" of each client functioned, and the other player slots were filled in with players on other computers.

I think 1964 is probably a lot more popular than PJ64k, by the way. Your thread title isn't helpful at all, either. You appear unintelligent, since you are saying "Gamepad is not equal to Jabo, N-Rage is not equal to Kaillera". :)

a) i did select it. In fact, Jabo worked fine with my old crappy Gratis PC gamepad. However, both the n64 and ps2 (they go through the same converter) just automatically give me a joystick angle I don't press, and even if I hold the joysticks and press a button it still will give me that angle.

b) I know how it works ;) You misunderstand. Let's say I'm the 2nd player to join. We start, and I can't move at all or press any buttons, my input is completely broken. However, if I started the room (first player to join) and someone else joins, I work fine (and I have confirmed it isn't desynch, as they can see it too) but their input doesn't work.

c) PJ64k is much much more popular than 1964 if you look at the servers. I'm not discussing which is better (when it's compatible with the game, 1964 is much much better in my opinion) but that if I want to play an n64 game online, 95% of the games are pj64k.

Project64k when you log onto kaillera it automatically loads a set of plugins online,

Jabo's Direct3d7 plugin
Audio DLL that i cant remember right now
Jabo's Directinput.dll

since your attempting to use N-Rage and it loads these automatically, thats why your controls dont work

Aha, thank you man. I actually knew that when I started with kaillera, but i forgot since my friends and I use 1964... Thanks!

Also, can I just rename it? I know that it works, but will it cause lag or anything?
