can anyone help me?

i read the compatibility list and it says that capcom vs snk 2 and mvc2 says it loads slow and i waited and it still dont work.

after i wait the little green number at the bottom left dont move no more and wen a folder or something is moved on top of it it turns white.

someones`s already made a thread concerning this the 3in1 game thingy does not work, but you can always try loading the stand alone versions which seem to work exceptionally.

you can try making images out of the folder's in tdc that is how I got them to work. They all have a seperate folder and a 1st_read.bin, all you need is too make them self bootable.

im really unsure of how to do this (make images from folders)

do you just copy the whole folder out, then run it through that handy selfboot.exe and then mount the image.

lol.....i think i'll have to wait for the next release :(

SeiferAlmasy: I tried to do this, and the games definitely do not load. I am using dir2boot to make the selfboot imgs and mounting with DT 3.29. My system meets all the specs, and It goes to the sega screen and does nothing else... Any ideas? As I understand it, I need not include the other soundtrack folders right (I only tried the single game dirs)?

To fix the Sega logo freezing problem, I heard you need to use a Hex editor to delete some entries inside your 1st_read.bin file. But I am not sure which chunck of codes to delete in 1st_read.bin file.

astroduck: SeiferAlmasy already said that he got his working fine though. The image ripped fine, and dir2boot said that it made a self-boot image without problems. I load the img with DT 3.29, go through the startup screen ok, and then it freezes on the Sega screen. There is also an additional graphic on the sega screen however, its a little image that says like colecovision or something. I am assuming that dir2boot is adding this. Could this extra graphic be the problem?

I used the method used by akito20 when he ripped doale from jap to usa, but didnt need to use any other 1stread I used the one from the actual folders and used the tools and procedures that akito used I dont have a link but it worked perfectly for me good luck.

Yea I tried ripping all of the game folders seperately, and they all do exactly the same thing, I see the startup dreamcast screen, then the sega screen (w/ added icon), and then chankast freezes (I have tried with and without capcom hack enabled). I wonder if someone can post me the size of a working sf3:3s/mvsc2/cvssnk2 self-boot rip and maybe a screen of the root dir to make sure that the cd folders hold the complete games. I guess I'll also take a look at akito20's method whatever that may be. I'm not sure why dir2boot wouldnt do the job though...

Like I said, you have open up the 1st_read.bin and edit the hex codes and then use fastboot method to make the game self boot. I tried the method with Sega Rally(it freezes on the Sega logo) and it actually bypass the Sega logo part but then it just shows black screen(but the counter is still moving so that means the emu does not freeze). I hoped the next verison of Chankast will fix the bug.

Yea I just found it. Looks like you need to modify the 1st read and ip bin files with that hack prog. I also notice akito is banned... wonder why?

Ok, that method worked, what do you know. I think they should add that piece of information to the FAQ. If a game is crashing after the sega logo, that the ip.bin and 1st_read.bin files need to be modified.
