fire in my apartment building last night...

two floors above me. My apartment wasn't affected, thankfully, though it does reek of smoke.

Was woken from a sound sleep at 3:30 in the morning by the pounding of the fire department on my front door. Got to stand out in the bitter cold for about an hour. Lovely. Walked up to the first tenant I saw and asked "which apartment and who's fault?" Turns out it was his. Oops...
