This refers to the GBA game, I assume! Well, since Fire Emblem (J) appeared on the NES.

I'm probably going to get it. I've heard it's a fantasy type Advance Wars. It looked interesting to me far before Roy and Marth were on Smash Bros but whatever. I'm at least happy it's recieved a statside release even if it is the 80th game in the series.

It's like Advance Wars with more RPG elements, (leveling up, a heavy focus on story, magic, new swords, etc) I personally would like to see fewer cutscenes, and more me kicking the games ass, but that's just me

There's an official english version of this game out now? Or just a fan-translated version?

Also (and I'm not asking for roms), what are the good spots on irc these days?
I haven't used irc in years; don't remember where to begin any more.

Yes its really an english version for GBA, and asking for IRC channels is just about the same as asking for rtoms, so i will refrain from saying any.

Depends on what channels you are asking for I guess but a lot of channels on IRC offers illegal material which in some cases could be roms... So please refrain from asking where / how to get roms...
