Correction, meant +-$35.
Yeah, i've been playing this for a while now and, yes, it is a dissapointment. Couldn't get my friends to buy a GBA either, so now I'm sitting with a half-bread singleplayer action/rpg which i'm already bored with after 4 hours of play. If another game is released where you need a GBA to get the most out of it then i'll consider getting that GBA and so will my friends. But, really, buying a GBA for one game (and not even for playing GBA games) is ridiculous!

Eh... get some GBA games.

I think FF:CC is just brilliant... and anyone who bitches about how it requires GBA's for multiplayer is just an unlucky bastard whose friends aren't real gamers (everyone should own a GBA by now... for general information, there are 20,000,000 GBA's in peoples' homes in the US... compared to 22,000,000 PS2's - that's VERY close).

Woopdee-fucking-do.

I don't need a travelling NES/SNES right now because, *gasp* I don't do much travelling.

I shouldn't be expected to fork out more money for another device altogether just to play multiplayer on a game. God what a crock.

But then, I don't have any friends, so I suppose it doesn't matter much. Either way, the whole GC-GBA multiplayer crap is, again, a crock.

That Damn Good
I really didn't like Final Fantasy CC. I just didn't like the gameplay, but then again I only played it for like 20 minutes. It might have been better if I had a GBA, but my cousin borrowed my GBA and then lost it.

WTF? You act like everything on the GBA is an NES or SNES port.

There are plenty of original and/or more advanced games on the GBA.

i think the prob stem from the fact that since ff1 to ffx were great rpgs, everyone expects the same of each up coming ff series. if perhaps is was a original game (ie i WASN'T name ffcc) then mebbe the gaming community would be more accepting of it. of course its the first in what will be a series of games based on this concept. the developers prolly didn't anticipate the GBA barrier to be something that needed consideration.

Doomulation

?????????????????????????
Pffff, mind you what you're writing. FF8 & X was absolutely crap imo. IX wasn't that good, but okay.
Although I can't say everyone should get a GBA for let alone multiplayer for this game, there are good games for the GBA which you can take with you and play anytime - anywhere!

True, but they're using the Final Fantasy name to sell more titles.
