I run an Athlon 1365 mhz, and most of the games, have slowdonws not because of my video card, but of the cpu usage that easily gets 100%...

Does this happen just with me?
I ran neverwinter nights in the background while playing pj on the best settings w/o slowdowns...
I suppose it's you?

Ok seems you are right Nyruu's Love is buggy
Seems i can only get the blue like effect around Link only at rare cases where the viewing angle changes and sometimes its just black. Most of the time it isnt visible at all

memory allocation probs are not always fixed by enabling/disabling compat mode, it seems to just be a bug with some ppls configs...i havent worked out a solution for it yet so...bleh

for now,i'll keep on playing at pj 1.5 b1, the version that actually works for me.....:(

since you have a radeon and xp, you NEED to use a 9x compatibility mode. :)

About the strange slowdowns that ppl are getting,or more right the "pauses" that shouldn't be there since it's happening on games that are using check memory & cache for instance (I 'm not
talking about games that are using frame buffer).The reason for this is not PJ64's core,but the new Jabo's 1.5 video plugin.
This is really important,I'm still trying to figure out why.Anyway just an example is ExtremeG,the game is having "pauses" that shouldn't be there-but with 1.4v it plays fine as it should be.
Jabo since you are here can you think why this is happening:)

While playing Blast Corps i've noticed pauses happening as well. It isn't a huge deal, but can be annoying at times. Just every minute or so it would pause for a second or two.

Yes im getting those too at every game ive tried(Super Smash Bros,Zelda1,2,Mariocart)
Lol and i thought it was just me
 
I'm still trying to find out why...The only thing that I'm absolutely certain is that this is cos of Jabo's plugin and not PJ64's core...

it didn't happen with every game i tried. BC was the worst for me. Some times it could go for 5 minutes without doing it, other times it would do it every 10 seconds. It's very random. I also experienced some pausing with ogre battle 64, but i think that's because my pc tried to pull some funny business while running pj64...
 
Also if you try to end emulation when such a pause happens it can cause emulator to freeze.
And the "pauses" are happening even if you have paused a game!

Hmm found out that the blue thingy:)P) which is black for me at jabo's 1.5 plugin can only be seen(the black thing) when you see Link from behind.
Diz: Will try 23.11 detonators
We need someone to try Zelda with the 1.2 version and a GF2 to see if its version related problem

He's gonna have a LOT of shit to deal with when he comes back, but i'm sure he's expecting this. And the first week of september, what an odd week to have a vacation on... How old is he? Doesn't he have school or shit like that?

Anyways, another problem, this time with extreme g 2. I haven't played the original, so i don't know if it's supposed to be like this or not, but i doubt it is. check out the naming screen, by the upper right corner. I don't mean to sound fussy, i'll just ignore this probably, but it's a problem none-the-less
