Uh this is important for you to read... Its about how the FCC is selling their souls to satan and allowing the government to watch our every electronic move.

No... but did you read that? Do you understand the impications? The FCC shouldnt be allowed to know if I have a goat fetish... or if I did a google search on bomb making... or how often I read the e-newspaper. Not that I do any of those things, but If I wanted to I should have the right too without someone knowing about it all the time.

Oooh, i'm so scared, the FCC can watch several billion online users at once? I highly doubt that... that would be too impractical and pointless.

I'm sure that they'll filter their suspects by looking only at key words... still, words like 'hacking' and things relating to torrents or p2p might be on that list... that would be big trouble for many of I us I assume.

Oh dear... the heat is on. We're all doomed! doomed I tells ya...

/me jumps out the window in a panic because of the idea of such an invincible force such as the FCC.

Edit:
Joking aside, according to tracert, emutalk is located in europe. what could american organisations like FCC do to it? lol.

Fool! You'll lament the day you mocked my political insight... oh yes...

Wasn't it american organizations that indirectly (or directly) shut down your eDonkey and, uh... another one of those networks... in your safe little european countries? Don't underestimate the power of the FORCE... er, I mean... the american audacity to meddle in the affairs of other countries. Any communications to, from, or through US networks would be directly under the FCC's jurisdiction, european in origin or not. They didn't hesitate to crack down on adware rings based in Romania just a few months ago.

Anyways, if you dont care then fine... I'm not passionate about this shit or anything. I just saw the headline and typed it up... I thought maybe someone would be interested... or perhaps knew something about this I didn't.

eDonkey was used to distribute illegal binaries, though... thats why they wanted to shut it down so bad, I doubt they see you as such a threat, nor me or even emutalk.net (as the fact it does not do anything illegal). putting edonkey in the same context is silly.

American organisations can't touch europe unless europe's version helps them. Look at sweden for instance, theres a certain website there that tells organisations such as the FCC/MPAA to basicly **** off... and they can't do a single thing about it.

Organisations like the FCC/MPAA only succeed if they can scare large quantities of idiots into believing they can pull off it's threats any moment. Realistically, though... unlikely to happen. You think terrorists care if the FCC says they can do this that and the other? Terrorists tend to be elusive and it probably won't make a blind bit of difference.

What american orgs can do though is bluff pretty darn well.

*good... my plan to fool you all is coming along nicely... yes... soon you'll all be at my mercy*

Who the US government sees as a threat should be a concern for everybody.

I mean, look at Iraq and how badly Bush has fucked that up. :)

Well pretty much any country with equal technology as America can do significant damage to America if they wanted, even the UK... Iraq had no nukes, it had no technology... what does countrys like North Korea and China have, nukes... tanks, big powerful guns...

They'd have a harder time being "invincible" against a country with technology and we all know that the middle east has no technology ;)

Sure, America can attack countries that can't defend themselves... but I can go pick on a 2 year old right now if I wanted, its equal by comparison.

What do you mean 'fucked up'? Did you hear that on CNN? Why is it fucked up? Because 1500-1900 americans have died there? Over 25000 screwy sideshow fundamentalist who run around Iraq with RPGs and AK 47s smashing artwork, opressing women, and stealling money/gold have been killed. Thats not fucked up, thats (for lack of a better word) PWNAGE. And dont give me this America shouldnt be there shit. If you were in a country like that helpless to stop extremist agression then I'm sure youd appreciate ppl coming in and risking there lives to help you. The only way the war in Iraq will be fucked up and turn into a Vietnam... is if people like you get the government to abort and allow those crazy fundamentalist to take control again.

Back to the FCC though, I dont think its right that the FCC is demanding backdoor access into broadband networks... I dont care what they do with the information that they find... I still don't want some guy in Washington knowing how many times I click into goat por... er I mean, uh, 'cookbook' websites. Its none of their damn buisness and they shouldnt be allowed to invade my privacy like that, can you agree with that CHOCOBO BOY?

*Yes... YESSSSSS! For I am the master of DISASTER... tremble, fools, under the gaze of my all seeing eye, mwa hahaha MWA hahaha... hmm goats*

Dude, who trained those fundamentalists, who gave them weapons on the 80´s to fight Iran, who gave them weapons to fight the russians during the cold war (Rambo 3 is dedicated to the Afhgans for their fighting spirit), The US is making war over oil, everybody knows that, they killed hundreds of thousands on the nineties then found 9/11 to be a terrorist act, sorry man but it was an act of war, a very wrong one but it was a payback for years over years of US oppression over the mid east, go back 20 years and you will see the real "evildoers" as Bush so eloquently putted.
