Anyone else excited? A friend of mine is actually going on a road trip down to Portugal to watch Sweden's games, I'm just a wee bit jealous. ;)

I'm hoping we will do good this time, I think we got a pretty good team, but of course there are a lot of other teams that are stronger on the paper. However, we have Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrik Larsson as strikers, and when they play at top of their game they're world class.

Umm...what else...who do you think will win? :)

I'm really looking forward to it, especially our opening game against France. I'll be in a better position to tell you who's gonna win the tournament after that game I imagine ;)

England have a decent enough record in competitive matches under Sven, so we will hopefully go pretty far. Though many teams are in with a chance.

Agreed about the Swedish strikers btw.

yeah, i can't wait either, the england match should be good, going to watch it with the mrs, hard to say what'll happen in the match, i'll be supporting them though :)

As always I don't have my hopes up too high when sweden plays but we should make it past the group games atleast :D Always something, and with a little luck we might even win the dam thing :p

France probaly has a pretty good chance of winning, england winning would be nice for Sven Goran Eriksoon, who is swedish :D, but I don't see that happening.

I'll place my money on Denmark, though. They haven't won anything in a while... ;-)

Wow that was a surprise wasn't it? I surely thought Portugal would beat Greece. :)

I don't think so, the "German" thinks and acts like a Greek, but I don't know if he likes souvlaki... :unsure:

Well, at least the german newspapers stated that the greeks were very disciplined. And I wouldnt say thats a typical greek trait, rather a german one. ;)

Probably you're right, the Greeks became disciplined when the German took over the team. But he surely thinks like a Greek. :)

My god, the commentators of the England games make me sick, last night claiming Wayne Rooney was the next Pele!!! I mean come on the guys good, but please.
Oh yeah, I'm Scottish so I ain't wanting the 'Auld Enemy' to win :D

To be honest, it's not that I don't want England to do well. It's the commentators and press that drive me nuts, they hype it up to much!! They were talking about who they would be playing in the final before they even qualified!! And how often did they mention 1966 last night!! Ha ha

I had a funny feeling you would be one of the first to reply to my post :p
