Error 1402

Everytime I try to install I keep getting this error.

Error 1402.Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.n64
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or
contact your support personnel.

I'm using XP, I'm the administrator. I've tried deleting all the local temp files. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you by any chance using Vista?

If so, right-click the installer and choose Run As Administrator.

EDIT: Wow you *clearly* said you were using XP.

Anyways...this problem's strange. Is there any way to uncheck mapping the .n64 files to PJ64 in the installer?

I have no idea. I also try changing the permissions with the .cdda registry but that didn't help either.
