Everything could be judged relatively. If you could rate games based on 5 criterias, you could rate emulators by comparing gfx (and subsystems), sound (and separately music, where applicable), speed, compatibility and other parameters specific for each and every system plus feature support. What's wrong with it?

There are reasons why some events haven't received any spotlights and were barely mentioned in other section which is a public opinion. There was a long discussion before final version of emuDigest.
I don't see anything wrong with my statement regarding Chankast (DynaRec is DynaRec and I'm not referring to any levels of emulations here, while gfx emulation and sound (probably) is HLE. If it isn't HLE, it wouldn't have direct mapping to the GFX API like Direct3D). I didn't know about Icarus/Chankast relations, it's an interesting point of yours and I could update emuDigest if you'll point me to the information, thanks.
CXBX didn't receive any spotlight from me because I don't see any progress compared to the last year. It's outshadowed by other releases, as I mentioned they are sorted by the "explosiveness" factor and CXBX doesn't make ME wonder. We saw what could be really done with Xbox emulation when Xeon was released. If some experienced professional will really be interested in Xbox emulation, we would see an emulator compatible with dozens of games. Xeon proved the concept the same way Dolphin TEASER did it. That's my reason not to mention cxbx.
For the very same reason gens++ isn't here. It's put into shadow by Kega FUSION. I'm sorry that I've mentioned it in such weird way, I could remove that, but otherwise it would end up in the disappointments section.
I wasn't writing a review of GameCube emulators. Knuckles have greatly summarised it all, but I haven't mentioned others for the very same reasons mentioned above. The spotlight will fall onto them when their time will come. And it's a long way.
Regarding Satourne - there wasn't a release in 2004. Nothing to see here, it's not a WIP emuDigest. It's a subjective opinion of people and I don't agree with it myself, but I've included it since it was ONE YEAR LONG subject of discussion.
