Dvd Video Wont Work!! Help!!!

Hello,
I have an emerson dvd player that just has rca jacks in the back. I have it hooked through my vcr because my old tv doesnt have RCA jacks or an input button. The vcr works fine. With the dvd, I can hear audio but I cant any video. Is there a product I need to buy to get the dvd player to work with my ancient tv?

the video is the yellow plug, and you plug that in the yellow hole. make sure you did that. if you did you have to buy a new RCA cable or something. remember there is a difference between input and output also. white is left audio, red is right audio. make sure you didn't get yellow and white mixed up . trust me ive done it a few times in the past
