Duncan throws in the towel
I am sad to inform you that one of the true veterans of the Emu Scene has left. Duncan, admin of WWEmu and Emunin64 throws in the towel after 11 years in the scene. From his site Emunin64, here's his final words:

Well after 11 years in the emulation scene its time for me to go. Why? simple, currently just about all systems are emulated (and very well might i add), and my collection is pretty much complete. I can relive the old classic days of the early systems, as well as quite a few of the newer systems, any time i want, and this is all possible due to the great coders and authors that have been in the scene far longer than i have.

I started out in the scene in 1991, and between my emu sites (WWEmu, EmuNin64, etc.), work on SupraHLE, my Official 1964 Ini file, and my unofficial Ini/RDB files, i have givin something back to the emulation community for the great emulation that i now have today, and more than enjoyed it. I think that due to the "completeness" of the emulators available and the newer home console systems out today, that this is the cause of the emulation scene being slow or not much going on, but i dont see this as a bad thing, just means that most authors have acomplished their goals, and finished what they set out to do.

Its time for the curtain to fall for me, and theres so many great people i want to thank, and if ive forgotten you, dont worry, i can never forget the great times ive had with you all. Thanks to: Jerremy Koot, Smiff, Flow, Bish, Martin, Keith, BWB, PeterD, Dabods, Schibo, Rice, Dominator, Gordon (RM), Gent, Ad Enuff, Forgotten, Steph, Azimer, Prophet, Opi, Ben-J, Aldo Vargas, and all of the vistors and many more.

Thanks for the great times, im glad i was able to give something back, and i cant thank you all enough. You all take care, and maybe ill see ya all a few years down the road, but until then keep gaming >
