I think it's cool that people are already tearing into the hardware and seeing how it works, but I agree - if a fully functional emulator emerges (and is released) then it does no good for the DS, Nintendo, or the emulation scene overall. It's already frowned upon by most(all?) major console companies, and making emulators for brand new systems doesn't help in their opinions of emulation.
Then I ask you? what should I do?
Isreal's Importers said they will not import it...and since sep. 11 electonics will not come here for some reason... so I can't make a private import either...
Every game that I have is from my own money and Im not about to do Iligal things now What do you suggest me to do(ESPACIALY if there won't be an emulator...)
Take interest in other systems with a good emulation record? NES, SNES, Sega? Save up money for a trip to another bordering country, or have an aquantaince from another country mail it to you as a gift (if this would work?)
Nes Snes Sega: I have all of these...
I don't have any aquaintainse that can afford that thing...(How much it costs anyway)
And a trip? Im working and Will not be able to leave Isreal for the Next 3 years
That's sucks...
Now I will never Be able to play Final Fantasy III remake...
The DS is around USD $150, and yes that could be very expensive depending on where you live and what you do. It's unfortunate that Israel isn't wanting to import electronics - is there a reason behind this?
That's not it
Electronics in general(from Amazom, E-Bay est.) I have my ideas why they don't won't to bring it here, But I won't say it with out proper proof
and the DS: I have NO idea:S Maybe they think it won't pay off
