April 30, 2002 - Nintendo of America has announced that it is looking to hire some 50 gaming enthusiasts to play GameCube titles for the summer. New hires will earn a salary of close to $100 a day to play.
Gamers will work from July to August as members of the "Nintendo Street Team," where they will tour and showcase new GameCube and Game Boy Advance titles to interested audiences. Nintendo's executive vice president Peter MacDougall noted that for gamers, these positions are "sure to be the best summer job ever."
So what are the requirements for this dream job? First, applicants must be 18-years of age or older, and they must also send Nintendo a two-minute video explaining why they, above all else, deserve the position. Everybody interested should click right here to get started.
