its jdoom. I got the full installer from an ftp. It supports Doom. Ultimate Doom. Doom2. TNT. Plutonia. and Doom64 is even ported! It's suh-weet.

EDIT: I found jDoom/jHexen/jHeretic installer & some texture/model packs, you still needed the WADs (which I got most of from the DooM Collection @ Wal-Mart).

You need the original WAD file. The Doomsday Engine also supports Heretic and Hexen.

What's so great is the customisation - rarely two people will have the same textures or packs. I love this engine!

Been using JDoom for years. Great fun, I go through both Doom and Doom2 occasionally. Oh, if you don't own any of the doom's, you can try the Shareware version (also supported) to see what it looks like. Should support it.

Yeah, I have that, and I also have just jdoom, i uninstalled the whole pack that I found called DooM Remake, because it lagged hideously with all the stuff the put in it, i did however, gut the install with its fancy parts to make this weird mutant hybrid that run between 60 and 200 FPS on my setup.

the doom remake is a big no no, it started out as a compilation pack of jdoom addons, but indrema (it's "author") rebranded everything to pretend he did it, pissing off everyone who helped put the original art together, later "versions" include the doom games (warez) and can even be found on ebay form time to time, screw that pack

Yeah it's pretty laggy at point, but I went through and gutted out the High Res textures so it looked nicer. Also, the nicest things ive found so far are at the jdoom modelyard, the dl for the updated models is slow, but they loook 1000 times better. also the jDRP thig is essential

That's what I did for my stuff, went to the doomsdayhq site & got the files off of mirrors. It's fun to play around with different model & texture packs to get a new feel each time you play it.
