Donkey Kong 64 Problem

Just d/loaded this .rom file...... the %age indicator runs in the corner of PJ64 then all I get is a black screen (its set to run full screen when opening a ROM).

On one occasion I got a "continuous loop" error relating to the ROM - is DK64 a working ROM for PJ64 ? If so any suggestions how to cure this problem ?

hope thats not a dloaded commercial rom.. don't discuss this type of thing :satisfied

Yes, DK64 works for PJ64 (with several bugs, but it works). You should look for a "good" dump.

Doggi, as long as nobody gives some explanation how to get the files without searching the whole net or asks for that explanation...

Thanks - so ill just keep a look out for a better dump - didnt want to waste my time doing that if it was one of those games that just doesnt work....!

On second thought, you might wish to see the "check if it's a good dump" article in my sig. Smiff has been very kind to explain how to use goodn64 to rename roms and then use patches to patch the rom to a good one.
