Donkey Kong 64 black eyes problem

I searched the forums for "black" but didn't find an answer. Does anyone know what setting I need to modify to fix the graphical problem I am experiencing? Here's a screenshot if it helps.

I am using Rice's 5.4.3. My system is Windows XP Pro, P4 2Ghz, 1gig Ram, NVIDIA GeForce2 Ti. I am also experiencing the same problem on a different machine; Windows XP Pro, P3 800, 384mb Ram, GeForce2.

i got that same style of problem on conckers. i used the glide 64 plugin w/evoodoo and it runs like a dream now

Thanks BonsaiUlmus. I will try glide64 w/ evoodoo. Could you give me a general idea of how it compares to other plugins in terms of speed?

no problems at all here.....
GFFX5600 with 56.64 drivers...... Pixel Shader and Default settings
you can't use pixel shader in GF2, sorry.....

I think its a combiner problem..Use the newest Rice video plugin and try changing combiner types..As 4 me..when I select (for higher end)combiner I have ur problem..when I select (limied 2 stage) combiner..The game runs well..Also try TNT&Geforce2 combiner but before that u must downgrade ur driver to detonator 40..
