Does anyone know how to selfboot Seventh Cross Evolution?

The file was originally released by Kalisto.

I have tried numerous selfboot methods including, but not limited to, echelon's, using bin2boot, and quickboot, but no matter what I do, after modification, the game will load with about 40 or 50 IOerrors, and then it will show the spinning disc on the music cd screen.

The original file is in .mdf format with a .mds file, similar to a .bin/.cue.

Can anyone help me? Or is this game simply UN-bootable? If Chanka had Utopia support, I wouldn't need to ask this question...=(

Ok...using the "Make Homebrew games bootable" tutorial, I got the emulator to displayt the "Licensed by Sega" screen, but it freezes at it. The fps drops from 70FPS to about 5FPS, then the game just freezes. Does anyone know what is going wrong?

I am running the game from a burned CD.

Try overclocking Chankast (press "+") when it shows the Dreamcast logo. If this doesn't work then wait for a later Chankast release.

OVerclocking didn't work, and ChAnkA_RuLz method didn't work.

is this a working game? i'm only asking cauz i know gauntlet ledgens does the same thing ( dies at the boot )
