Djipi's Majora's Mask texture pack: issues with Lens of Truth

Hey, I joined the forums just to seek help with this problem I'm having with Djipi's cel-shaded textures. (but I might stick around longer)


I'm on Windows 7 Enterprise N. My GPU is an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 135M, and my drivers are up to date.

With Djipi's pack, the Lens of Truth does not function and the texture for it tiles and repeats.


I'm hoping I can resolve this issue, because I really don't want to go back to the vanilla graphics. Once you go HD, you can never go back.

1. What emulator are you using (I assume Project64, which version)?
2. What gaphics plugin are you using?
3. Does the issue not happen if you don't use HD textures?

And by the way, are you playing on a computer at your workplace?

1. You are correct, I am using Project 64 2.1
2. I am using Glide64.
3. No, this issue does not occur with Glide64 without the texturepack.

4. This actually is my dad's old work computer. It's a Dell Latitude D630. Most modern games don't run very well on low graphical settings, but many games made in 2006 and earlier can be played at an acceptable framerate.

Might be related to the issue discussed in this threat. If so, it is a "bug" in the texture pack as the lens of truth needs to have zero alpha in the center for becoming transparent.

I cant say for sure if this will work for this particular pack but in the past you have to have "Framebuffer emulation" and "Hardware frame buffer emulation" enabled for the lens of truth to work correctly with texture packs.
