DirectX 9.0 Problem

I recently installed DirectX 9.0 and everything worked good. That was until I opened up Project 64. I open up any of my roms and all my games run at half the FPS than what I was getting on DirectX 8.1. I mean it is just too slow!!!

Can anyone help me?

If you had System Recovery tourned on ( default on Win XP ) use it to back the changes to before you installed Direct X 9 . Should work.

yeh ok but is there anyway to make pj64 run at full speed with directx9.0
