Transition effect is awesome. Really nice work Orkin. Now if OoT looked a bit better..![]()

cooliscool said:Heh, I figured it was a problem with my videocard (no PS2.0 support). Guess I was right..
edit: Alfter further inspection all that's wrong is soem particle effects (flames, ring above death mountain) and the burning Zelda logo (the sun doesn't look 100% correct either).. could still be due to lack of ps2.0 support. Also I think it's been mentioned, but OrkinSampling freezes the image if turned on in game, and a black screen if turned on before loading.

and when they need to appear darker, they are completly transparant
I'm not stating he should hold back the plugin or take it backwards to support older cards - though as it is stated to work with Pixel Shaders 1.1 and above, I would at least hope that in future some semblence of support is available for the R8500 and comparable line (which supports 1.4). If it doesn't materialise no big deal, a pity but life will go on.The Khan Artist said:Frankly, I hope that Orkin doesn't bother getting pre-DX9 cards to work if it means taking time away from other developments. Yeah, I know they don't have all the cool features of Direct64, but Rice's plugin, Jabo's plugin, TR64 OpenGL, and Glide64 with various wrappers work fine.

RCGamer I get what you have when I'm using Rice video plugin 5.6.0, but with Direct 64, I get as in the screenshots above, can you post a screenshot with your settings?
