Back in my day MACS were the best when it came to emulation... im just getting back into the scene again now and true reality doesnt work on OSX... fine. I said t myself ill get a new emulator... WOW mupen .5 is out.

It crashes in a matter of seconds on most games and the sounds is too garbled to play any other game. Sound issues cause graphhics issues... on my G4 ibook 1.42 Ghz... its not my hardware.

Macs used to emulate the best, but now in myh esxperience are the worst as my old NEMU from 3 yrs ago emulates better than mupen or 60force... am i doing something wrong here guys??? Can i change the plugins???

Im on a new mac with a fresh install of tiger.
Would I be best off installing OS 9 and running the old true reality... will OS 9 even be able to use the graphics card on this new thing?

Then it must be hardware... maybe mupen doesnt care about people with iBooks... and since they're not mainly into emulating for osx they probably would care if i sent them any feedback.

PS - i tried true reality, it can barely load up a single rom.

Do I detect the downright world-famous sense of Mac elitism? Nah.

Anywho, while there are some very solid emulators for almost every other platform on Mac OS (I'm particularly impressed by GBMac, irrelevant as it is, full speed Game Boy Color emulation on a 33mhz rig was pretty cool), Windows has always had a big lead on the N64 circuit.
