Dark Fox 64

Most of N64 games are dark in any gfx plug-in (Road Rash 64 looks horrible with dark graphics)
And another problem,is the sound,afetr 1st level the sound is VERY bad

I had the same type of problem with another monitor I own, but with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and it was caused by the monitor.

Some monitors amplify the brightness poorly and are required with a Nvidia video card to increase the brightness with TwinView.

I see, we are going the same way as last time I posted about this issue...

Star Fox 64 though, is one of my favorite N64 games, so i'm not at all pleased with the answers, cause even if you turn the brightness to 100%, it still dosn't look right, so it simply MUST be some kind of a bug, at least admit that... :sly:

But ok, it is somewhat playable

i HAD the same problem. although its still too dark on my monitor, i connected it to my tv thru an s-video out on my card connected to a converter to coax then connected to my tv, and i see it fine on my tv. i also saw on another thread in this forum (i forgot which) that if u have an old monitor that could be the problem, and that old monitors usually die by getting darker... so if u have an old monitor that could be the problem
