What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

Textures can't be transparent unless the game intended them to be.

The HUD is probably made of .all textures that can be made transparent. Just use someone else's texture pack with a complete HUD, open them in photoshop, select the canvas (Ctrl-A) and delete it, then save it. If it comes out pure white in game then you know you can't do it with that texture. Check in game after each texture so you don't get lost.

Well the C-buttons and the A and B buttons are colored in game so I'm guessin even if the texture is transparent you would probably just end up with a white square... could give it a try though :)

No it should work. Whatever textures allow alpha transparency (like the HUD), can have 0% opacity.

The colors applied to them, are applied to whatever is there. Otherwise, even with normal textures, the B button would be a green square, the A button a blue square, etc.

Yeah, for one of my projects I erased some of the text in the game by replacing the characters' textures with transparent ones. I'm guessing it would work for HUD too.

Yes I know. I have been modding halo CE of 5 years. It includes a lot of texture types and stuff.:sombrero:

Well when I play majoras mask with the Rice plugin on PJ64 it runs at about 15 frames a second. So I tryed it on 1964 and it ran well but I am having a hard time finding out how to turn on the highres textures. "AKA my %100 HUD" I also have a 2.0 GHz CPU 1 GB RAM:nuke: So I could use some help finding out that stuff like getting it to run a 60 frames on PJ64 or how to get highres textures on 1964. THANKS PLEASE GET BACK SOON!!
