Controllers and Games

Me and my friend both have some game controllers, (Different controllers)...

They work in Project64, but for some reason, once you use the controller's pad to move UP/DOWN/LEFT/Right, the cursor sprite in some games disappears...

Mainly we're talking about SUPER SMASH BROTHERS.. once you move the cursor, it disappears... you can move around, still, but you can't see the cursor at ALL. IE: hover over a character, and it's as if the cursor were there.

If you bind the keyboard keys, to up/down/left/right, it works fine, and the cursor doesn't disappear.

Anyone know if there's a fix for this, or anything?

thanks.

hm.............I've had this problem too. May I ask what GFX card you have? I hope you're not too new to n64 emulation because there's a lot that you can do to fix it. Well, try using the latest Glide64 plugin with Evoodoo. If you don't know how to use a GFX wrapper (evoodoo) then try asking other people here. If you use these two things then Super Smash Bros. can look aorund 98% accurate. The only glitches include some MINOR texture differences and Pikachu's neck is whitish. Well, it's either that or try the LATEST Jabo plugin. I hoped that I've helped you in some way. Sorry that I'm not too good at describing things. Good luck.
