Controller/Joypad issues

I have a Saitek P2500 Rumble gamepad. On Project64 (1.6) it works perfectly fine except for the POV /\ button. I know it's not the controller, because it works fine with my snes emulator and everything else. I've tried two different plugins (Jabo and N-Rage) and it's the same issue, anyone have a solution?

Forgot to add - it does accept the button in the controller configuration, it's just that it won't work in-game.

I too am having this same problem although my controller is a Game-Elements GGE908. I'm also having rumble problems.

Aha, I just figured out the problem, I was using N-Rage`s Direct-Input V2.1.82 and switched to 2.1.80a and that seemed to fix it.

That's what I had to do!

Weird thing is, 1964 doesn't require this. Oh well...At least the problem's solved now.

I use a Logitech rumblepad 2 and it works great! I am not complaining, I for one would enjoy a mouse for some games. For me TOROK comes to mind. I always want to play the games but the control....AHHHHHGGHG! It was even bad for me tring to play on the N64. I am hopeful it will be enabled in the future. It would make Torok alot easier to play. Until that glorious day.....I have to use my Logitech.
