Configure Controls Wont Work :S

Hello this is my first post,
I downloaded Chankast last night I have the bios, and a rom to play but there's one problem. When I click configure controls nothing happens at all. Can someone please tell me what to do.

Change the controller plugin to ElSemi's.

The plugin is bundled with Chankast. if it isn't for some reason, I don't know any links. Google.

You'd probably be happier with nullDC or Demul though.
