Computer Randomly Restarting

Over the past few weeks i have noticed that my program just randomly resets. This happens a couple times a day and is quite annoying. I think it might have something to do with the fan, and it's not cooling my processor sufficiently. I have reason to think this because my fan has been sounded kinda funky lately, i think it may be dying. Does anyone know if this is the case? And if it is what is a good/relatively cheap fan that will keep my processor cool. On a side note, i have nothing overclocked.

Try to remove auto reboot on crash (It can be found @ my computer, advanced settings)

If your win2k crashes you will prob. see the reason

I don't think an overheating proc will cause reboots. If it's hardware related it may be a bad power supply or bad ram.

could be anything really, but im with you about the fan, it well might be that, when i overclock my pc too much, my processor overheats, and my motherboard jus restarts itself, to provent damaged, so it may your processor overheating, if so get a new fan, they are only like £10.
