Chankast wont start at all

Im having problems with starting chankast.exe file. When i click chankast.exe nothing happens. I have tried older versions with same results. I was wondering if norton antivirus causes this problem? Is this possible?

System:
Windows Xp
Athlon XP 2400+
Ati Radeon 9500pro (directx version 9.0c)
512ddr

NAV shouldn't make a difference. Have you installed Windows XP Service Pack 2 recently? That has been known to create random problems (though it works perfectly fine for some other people).

never heard of any SP2 probs with chankast, and my system works with it fine

No, i dont have SP2 installed. Weird problem huh? Any other advices that could help?
