Chankast running a little slow...

Ok, just wondering if I could get a few tips on speeding up chankast.
CPU Specs

Celeron D 2.8ghz, overclocked to like 3.2
XFX 6600gt AGP
1gb ram

I'm getting decent framerates, in the 22 range on jet grind radio (only game I have thus far), just wondering if I can somehow bump this up to a full 30 with this setup? Thanks!

Get a faster processor or try tweaking the Dreamcast CPU with +/- (it's a long shot).

The +/- on Numpad gives no effect

Pushing the +/- button on the Numpad gives no effect, too. My PC
has CPU 2.2Ghz, Ram 256MB, Video and Sound card onboard,shares 32 MB.
Soul Calibur, Resident Evil Code Veronica works well. It is slow, but
due to my average PC, nothing to complain. But +/- to reduce the number
next to the CPU stats down to 50 or up to 150 in Soul Calibur didnot
give the slightest change in speed that is possible for me to detect.

Moreover, +/- in Resident Evil CV can freeze your Chancast.

The CPU adjustment trick only helps a handful of games, and 95% of the time it has no effect on the game whatsoever. It's not a magical fps booster, so to speak. Adjusting the CPU can reduce freezing and crashes in some games.

Do +115 in Soul Calibur and buy an Agp graphics card .
Onboard video really slows it down.
