Chankast doesn't do anything

Whenever I start Chankast, a screen pops up that says "select date/time" and never changes. It says "L/R moves the cursor" but I'm pressing the buttons I configured for L and R but nothing's happening! It also says "U/D changes the settings" and I'm pressing up and down too and nothing's happening. I configured the controls, so it should work. But no matter what key I press, nothing happens.

Chankast is ignoring all the buttons I press and just locks up and does nothing. It's not responding.

Corrupt bios. Replace with a new set and do NOT attempt to set the clock. Hopefully you saved a backup of your bios for just such an emergency.

I had just downloaded the bios though. They were new. I also tried using several different dc_flash bios.

Here's a screenshot to show what I'm talking about. This is what it shows whenever i start chankast. I'm using a keyboard (don't have a controller) and I've configured all the buttons in chankast, but nothing happens no matter what I type on the keyboard.

Are you trying to run a bootable game?

1: Try changing BOTH dc_bios and dc_flash.
2: Are you using a self-boot game?
3: Have you installed ASPI? Otherwise it won't work.
You should also select ASPI cd access from options, not xxx access.

I insalled aspi, and the problem still exists. it didn't do anything.

I should note that I got a new screen after installing aspi.

The bottom screen asks me to hit enter, but no matter what key I configure for enter, nothing happens. Chankast just isn't responding to my keyboard.

for the mvc2 problem, in the chankast FAQ there should be a guide on how fix the saving problem i had the same one
