Chankast and Tile Rendering

Thanks to the Power VR2 Graphic chip, Dreamcast was able to render only the visible polygons. As a result with Tile rendering the little "Grey and White" could offer "visual fantastic games" like DOA2.

Unfortunately it seems to me that this function hasn't been included in Chankast. So I would like to know if the next Chankast version will use software Tile Rendering or an Hardware one (via HSR, or Hyper-Z...) ? And by the Way, when the next version will be released ?

Thanx for your replies :)

Chankast emulates good games already, I can spend good times playing Capcom X SNK . But its just an Alpha yet and won't run all games with perfect gfx and speed, and won't run perflectly in all systems ( my Soul Calibur is slow and with messed gfx :( but its just matter of time!). So, I will just wait for another version.
And developers don't like to work under pressure, so don't ask when the new version will be realesed. :)

Alpha is just a developer's excuse to release someting that isn't as good as it could be.

as for hardware rendering, I doubt chankast will ever support that in any advanced form. The only way I see it happening is if El Semi decides to do more work on it than previously (he wrote the dynamic recompiler SH4 core for it, but afaik, it was already written, and he simply didnt have the rest of the emulator yet).
