okay, my last comment was incorrect.. here's the really wierd thing. my alcohol drive is P: and my daemon tools drive is K:
when i set the drive to K in chankast and it worked i thought it was cuz of daemon tools.. but actually, it's reading from drive P: because mounting/unmounting on K: and mounting in alcohol (P

could the problem be that the choices in the drive listbox are just assigned to the wrong values?
