In reference to the first post in this thread:

Chu Chu Rocket:
Full speed with sound
No errors in graphics or sound.

Comp stats:
256mb RAM
2Ghz Pentium 4
Video Card: Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller.

Hope that helps the compatibility list.

it's crazy, with german text:
"Der erste Tag" = "The 1st Day" (pic2)
"der zweite stock" = "the second floor" (pic6)

Shenmue bugs on v0.25 with Zwrite and AlphaTestZwrite on :

- Except the intro music and the notebook music, most of the musics freeze.

- In Sakuragaoka, Yamanose, Dobuita, and some other places, Ryo is transparent(only before 7:00pm)

- There are some characters's hair that have transparency problems( Nozomi's hair too  ) The kid on the right on that picture seem the be the most affected by that transparency problem.

- When peoples talk, they take a lot of time between each sentences (longer than on Dreamcast)

- Other very minor bugs that I wont bother you with them ;)

- Playing games at the arcade make the emulator crash.

If you can fix the transparency problems on characters's hair, (also the music if you can) I'll be the happiest man on earth and will give you a nice christmas gift by paypal donate :santa:

Keep up the good work! You guys rock!

figured out you should try playing with your driver's options

Hi,

1. I am very impressed of your emulator. Its the first one to run commercial stuff - and in my eyes - the first to run DC-Games @all!
2. I had a DC for several months - and its a great thing!
3. I tried the game "Street Fighter 3 - Double Impact" and it hung (after that I found in it in the comp. list). Even though it hung - I saw the Capcom logo - and it appeared just fantastic (as the one on MVC2 on the XBOX).
4. I tried Street Fighter 2x - and it really worked. Of course there were some minor gliches - but I think that is not very important. The power of my machine appeared to be enough to emulate this nice game in almost what I'd call "real time".
5. If the next two games I have bought will work (and they are marked as playable in the comp. list) I will donate you at least something - cause this was surely many hours of very hard work (I can say that, because I programmed some simple applications (well MDI apps with database etc.) and it was hard enough).

Please continue like this - and the DC-Gamers are safed
Bye bye and marry christmas (at least in few days :bouncy:) :santa:

Hi everyone again. Sorry if I posted some unimportant stuff - but I thought it was so? (well a friend told me that I didn't have to post that thing right here - so sorry)

I tried today the game Soul Calibur, which a friend of mine still had for the DC (even though he sold his DC). I used the Utopia boot disc and loaded the original GD-ROM into the emulator (well you know how it works; an orig. game is not self-bootable).

It worked just great, except speed and the main menu. The main menu is totally corrupted - but its unimportant, because you still can see the names of the options etc. But in-game you can see almost everything correct - that is even those nasty sparks etc. I had approx. 20 frames on average (well sometimes it went higher, but sometimes lower). I couldn't figure out why sometimes it is quick and sometimes isn't... but I have a guess - perhaps the more of the detailed background you see, the less frames you get.

Anyway. I now started to believe in something that has been destroyed by an other emulator, and what is promised by Icarus. Anyway - good work.

By the way: how do I send money via paypal? Its not a big amount - well I am sorry for this - and your work is worth more than that - but I have some 10$ on it I didn't use yet. So tell me and perhaps I'll donate them to you.

(Well - I am still impressed of the pictures I saw a couple of minutes ago. There is NO fighting game, which would be equal (on a PC)).

Thanks.

P.S.: If anything I said here is against the rules, don't ban me immediatly please :bye3:

P.S.2: The DC rulez :p (even though I do not own one ^^)

I don't think that there is (or will be) a US version of Chaos field for Dreamcast. The only version that exists is the JAP version. It's being a very long time since the last release of a US/EUR Dreamcast game...

Original GD disks cannot be loaded into the emulator, as a GD cannot be read in a PC, AT ALL! Dont mislead people with this stuff

The utopia boot disc is for loading ripped versions that are non bootable.

Tried SMS plus v0.1 in the morning and it worked perfectly with only some minor gfx glitches on some menus (see attached pic).

Sonic Adventure

In regards to the crash in Sonic Adventure when you take the train to the ruins level I managed to get past it by lowering the CPU speed to 50 (- key). Hope this helps.

FOXHOUND: Chaos Field works nice on Chankast, even on my lo-end PC (A2000+, 512 MB RAM, GF42000), if Ikaruga has on your PC ~40 FPS, Chaos Field will Have ~40 fps too. But Chaos Filed isn't good game...

18 Wheeler (J): Japanese Error

It says "Seebu Fairu wo roodo shiteimasu" - Save file is loading.
The japanese version works fine, you just have to format the memory card.

Tokyo Xtreme racer 1 (kalisto): Runs perfectly ingame with minor glitches on menus.
Had to use the utopia boot disk (both v1.1 and v1.2 work) since it does not seem possible to make the game bootable successfuly...
