Ok, when I last looked at Intel's website, it said that Celerons only fit on the 845 series boards. Well, I read in a magazine a couple of weeks ago about reviews for all of the latest motherboards. And for each one, all being in the 865-875 series, it said that they support the P4s and Celerons.
I know they aren't the best chips, but I'm thinking about building a "value" machine, for now, but with the 875 you can upgrade to the early Prescott chips coming out this year. So I just want to leave room to upgrade, hence why I'm not thinking too much about AMD. So if someone could confirm that the Celeron will work on the newer boards, that would be great. Thx in advance.
