Castlevania

Just started a new game of castlevania and i keep having the same problem, everytime i use a throwing weapon like a knife or whatever, my whip and sword disapear and i can't get them back but everything's fine as long as i dont use a throwing weapon....
Hoping i can get some feedback with this issue so i can continue without any problems.

Which one are you playing? I've been playing Legacy of Darkness, and ive never had this problem before.

Hey and thanks for the response, i have both but i am now playing/talking about the first one just castlevania 64, i had just started a new game and in the first minute or so you get a throwing knife (if you wanna pick it up), but if i throw it he no longer has a whip, and if i try to use the sword he swings but theres no sword in hand, so at that point i cant kill anything i just have to restart......ive been going through the game without throwing knives, axes, boomerangs etc.

Ive tried cheats on and off, makes no difference, cause i took into consideration that i was using infinante throwing weapons.

Legacy looks cool ive played about 5 minutes of it, but the first one runs smoother for me so i am playing that one first
