can't initialize video with jabo 1.5 on directx8.1b

before i upgraded to diretx 8.1b i can use jabo 1.5 but after i used the new dx version i always get a message of can't initialize video. OS is win2k and yes i used the dx binary for win2k.

my videocard is a crappy ati rage mobility m1.

don't tell me that i should change vcards, it's integrated
and i also know that i don't meet the min. req so don't yank me about it.

i just want to know if jabo 1.5's compatible with dx8.1b

Have you re-started you computer? Try un-installing PJ64. Sometimes the simplest, stupidest things are the problem

did that twice to be sure but the plugin still gave me the error.

what gfx card are u using? and make sure u have the latest drivers for that card that should do it

Try settings desktop colour depths to 16-bit and see if that helps.

thanks for the replys. i also set my desktop setting to 16 bit but still no luck. i've installed sp3 but to no avail.

That's for sure the Video drivers...

I did had once that, but I knew it was the video drivers, 'cos they were windows drivers and not the manufacturer drivers... Update...

hey whatboy....something must be wrong with your system specs. An AMD 1.33mhz? with 512ram? ....sounds like my ol' 286 stuffed with RAM *LOL*
