Can't Figure out the SAVE system!

I've been trying to figure out how to save my game for the past hour or two ,but i've had no luck. Here's what I've tried:

I unzip chankast to my desktop so it's a clean fresh start. I put in the DC bios and the DC flash into that folder... i then start up Chankast and tell it to Launch the vms browser... however when i do so it says that there are 0 free blocks... so then i start up the dreamcast emulation without a game- i go to file and then select the memory card, and tell it to delete all files.. I then bring up my vms browser and tell it to write the wvm.bin- but still it says 0 blocks available... i'm getting very frustrated.

one user on here said that he had to delete some lines in the DC bios to get back space on the memory card but i dont know how to get into the bios--

can someone please help?

Just unmount the drive, start chankast and it shoul start up the bios.
Now, Navigate to the top right corner icon (The one with the VMS icon, forgot how it's called).
There you need to select your memory card and choose the option to delete all (Again, forgot how it is called exactly), and when it's done, you should have a clean memory card.
