I have this X-Men mini DVD and I was wondering what would happen if I put it in my gamecube, will it mess the GC up?

No, I doubt anything will happen. You can't play mini-dvd discs with the GC . But don't take my word for it. :p

You may try it, but you'll get an "insert disc" message. But, nothing bad will happen to your gamecube/disc.

And even if it were a sentence like that in the bible I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't sign up to the nearest church boy choir... :p Atleast not without a gun pointed at me.

BTW, for the record, all it does when you put a Mini DVD in the thing is not read the disc. No harm, no foul.

Normaly it would work to argue that with all cases of optical media, as its simply a laser reading from a disc, it can't possibly hurt anything if you insert an incompatible medium. Then DRM enabled CDs start erasing the firmware on a macintosh, so the FUD begins

At your service, dood!
why did you ask this question if you're not even going to try it. I can't see how the GC's hardware could possibly break because of a disk, it certainly wouldn't do anything apart from say "insert gc disk"

The GC Dev community is always putting different discs and such into the GC and not braking them. So don't worry about it. No way that some media is gonna break it
