seems that larger vmu are not compatible because :
- if you try to create an empty file of 256ko instead of 128ko (
non formated vmu) , when chankast formats the vmu it becomes an 128ko
- if you tried to add data before "the written data at the end meaning it's formated" (
formated vmu), the vmu is no more formated
So you can't have a larger memory even if it could be great, why not allowing people to make memory cards of sizes they want ( so that they could save all dreamcast games on 1 VMU :icecream:
