Hello!
I just recently purchased one of the Gamecube to pc controller adapter for my compter to play N64 games. I have become aware of that fact that NRage's plugin will fully support to controller, but now I have a new problem - the controller will not calibrate! There is not even an option for calibration. When I double click on the 'game controllers' icon in my control panel, it just has one tab, which says 'Test' I would assume there should also be a 'Calibrate' setting as well......Does anybody else have this device working properly? I understand it is fairly hard to find.....Anywa, thanks in advance for the help. By the way I am using windows XP.

hi...

I'm also using the skillz usb adapter.
for me ther's no need to calibrate. the pas works just fine and 100% accurate !

What I'm missing is the force feedback !

i also use winxp, and directx 9.

there is absolutely NO rumble or FF effect (in any game not emu only !!!)

maybe someone can help me out

TIA

teknoranger: Most adaptors don't need to be calibrated aslong as you don't push any buttons / rotate any axis when powering up your computer, i.e pushing your controller down will make center equal down... making it more or less impossible to press down...

EmGee: I don't own the product but are you sure your adapter supports rumble emulation through force feedback?

I can get the rumble to work, and even test out every feature on the controller (they all work!) in the 'game controller' tab in the control panel. I will try to restart my computer with all the stuff plugged in to see if that works. By the way how did you get your pad to work EmuGee? Thanks for the replies!

I tried restarting my computer, and also reinstalling the drivers. Still the controller seems like it needs to be calibrated. Perhaps the thing is broken....The force feedback works though!

Don't know if it matters but the problem seems to be with the right yellow analog stick on the rY axis.

Does anybody know how to check and see these elusive PM's? I am kind of a dumbass in regards to this forum, so I apologize for my lack of intelligence. Thanks!

By the way I am starting to think my new adapter thing is defective - it simply will not calibrate! Does anybody know how to uninstall this device so I can start over?
