Booting...

hey guys i just got tales of symphonia! uh... there's a problem though. I go on dolphin and open the gcm file, and it says booting...

the problem is, like about a minute later, it still just says booting...
the screen on the background does not change color, everything stays the same. This also happened to another homebrew game i dled. Can anyone help me... or is it just a matter of waiting a very long time for the thing to boot?

any help is appreciated - and if any of u guys have tales, can u tell me if it works?

Thanks!!

ok, i read all that, and i did learn something. You have to put the game file into the same file that dolphin is.

I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND

I downloaded tales, and i have it in what looks like a list (sry i'm a newb). It says tales of symphonia, nice little incon and pictures. I double click it and it just says booting...

i've had it on for about 5 minutes at the max, and it just doesnt do anything.
Oh, and when i opened dolphin, and u add folders where games are and stuff, and you go on to the next page and it says a bunch of things like configurations and stuff like that (sry for being unclear) only the last one is filled out. The dvd and the rest of the things have nothing in them. Could that be the problem?

thanks in advance guys

Anyway, don't worry more about it. People that could run it even couldn't come after the movie... what are your specs?

sry (newbie here) what r specs?

and plus - its not just tales. I dled a homebrew game and tried that. stays on booting screen for a while

for ure games, how long does it stay like that until it disappears and the game is playable?

i tried tales with dolwin, and it kind of worked. it only got to a message that said something like accessing memory card dont push power button

thanks in advance for the help:ala:

Well, as i said, you shouldn't worry so much to emulate only those two parts, and the specs is the type, well, it's better to say for example Win Xp, Mx5200, and that, to see if the shadow 2.0 - oh hell i'm sleepy 0.0- is supported.
