Booting Problem

I have a problem with my Smash Bros Melee GCM
Everytime is click open and press the GCM
It says booting
And it just keeps saying booting...
It doesnt boot the game
I even left the comp on for a long time and checked...
And guess what
STILL BOOTING
Can anyone help me out?
