I know what the game needs is a frame limiter, but changing these settings I was able to 'slow' the game down enough to where I believe it is a playable speed, and in doing so also fixed the issue of textures appearing to be black.
I am Dual Booting from XP Professional 32bit into Windows XP Professional x64 with SP2, I have an AMD 64 X2 2.3GHz Dual-Core, and an nVidia 8400GS 512mb Graphics Card with 4GB's of RAM.
I have Dynarec and Dual-Core mode both enabled, and on the Graphics settings I am using the Dolphin Video Plugin (DX9).
Device Type is set to HAL
I changed the Pixel Shader to 1.1, sometimes it messes up the colours on the menu's but all the levels look like they are supposed to.
Antialiasing Mode is 0
Enhancements are all turned off
And under Advanced I have Display List Optimization Level set to 0: Interpret
I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but the speed is the closest to normal i've found, and I can actually play to win. It's something anyway, untill a Frame Limiter is implemented. Hope this helps.
