Best game ever? Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

Yeah I would say Chrono Trigger ranks up there are one of the best. Oot is very good but I like Link to the Past better. The music is better, the whole light world dark world was excellent. Past and present was cool but it didn't seem like there were enough differences between the two. Oot did improve the series through the story telling and fighting though. The game did feel more childish in some ways though (not always a bad thing). Overall the one thing I find lacking in Zelda is the lack of primary weapons/armour and lack of towns (I guess that's just how the series is). One thing I like about Square RPG's is that you feel like you are part of a huge world rather than a small town and surrounding area.

I guess there's no reason you can't have both types of games but it would be nice to see a more epic Zelda with a lot more happening.

Chrono Trigger is indeed a good game. The thing about classic games of the SNES era is that they dont really show there age... FF7 is now considered outdated as far as graphics go, yet a game like Chrono Trigger will be forever playable. I dont care though... I'm playing FF8 right now and i dont care if it isnt close to FF10 graphics. It signifies a place in time... a certain era in my life, along with being a good game, it brings me back to those simpler times when pokemon was just starting out, and gas was cheap.
