Try going around to the other side of the train and going in from that side -- even if it doesn't look like it's the "right" side -- I seem to remember needing to do that some of the time.

lol well waht i did was go to the back of the train and i suddenly appeared in the boiler room so that's all good, but now i have yet another problem!!!!

the fire egg switch i nthe plateau area in the isle o hags doesn't work for some silly reason. everytime i hit a fire egg at it, nothing happens!

any suggestions ot what might be the problem?

It works in Project64 since I got passed the switch. 1964 I'm not so sure about, since this problem has been reported many times.

oh ok that's very strange...well if i download project 64...won't i lose all my saved files? or could i load it up somehow?

Try using 1964 0.8.5 and see if that works then, using your B-T native state. Otherwise, no idea.

Yes, if you're using 1964 with Banjo-Tooie, do not use 0.9.9. It has issues with BT which cause the emulator to either exit with no prior warning or crash with errors (I can't recall which).

oh damn!

so where can i get this 1964 0.8.5? and also...will i be able to somehow resume my play from where i left off or do i have to start again????

oh and i forgot to ask for was BT native state? i think BT stands for banjo tooie (oo ain't i smart lol) but what do u mean state?

is there like a saved file somewhere? like when i save slots does a file get created or sumthign that i can use for this other version of 1964 so i dont lose all my game progress?

What seems to be the problem with it? Describe what goes wrong. Make sure you're using the latest
Service Pack as well.

There's also more N64 emulators available to download here.

P.S. Try using the
edit.gif
button when you forget to add something to your post (instead of making a new post). :)

well i load the rom, it loads to 100% and then nothing happens!

it's quite annoying! ill try this service pack thing...and if it works, woudl i be able to recover from where i started off perhaps?

thank god!

ok since we got that working...will i be able to resume play form other game saves or sumthing because i rather not start all over again! and is it guaranteed that the fire egg switch will work?

well i understand that i have to have azimer's saveswapper utility, which i have...but the problem is i don't know how to load games, but i do know how to save them!

lol it looks liek i always figure out things as i go...well now i know how to load a game! lol..but now all i need to do is to transfer a saved file from 1964 to pj64 so i can get passed this switch door!
